We know firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate dementia. We also know how incredibly cherished new moments of connection become. How much a smile can mean.
Cherish activities have been designed in collaboration with Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Caregivers, and design experts.
Our bespoke letters, and the digital activities that accompany them, incorporate clinically validated concepts such as such as Reminiscence Therapy, Sensory Stimulation, and Music Therapy. All of our cards are printed on thick, textured felt card stock to encourage a sensory experience. Our ultimate goal is to help foster meaningful togetherness.

Currently we offer a one month and three month option. One letter is sent per month. We hope to offer more options in the future (and we’d love your feedback on a cadence that works best for you!).

Absolutely. Our letters are designed to be read independently or together, depending on your loved one’s abilities. You could contact your loved one’s care facility and ask that a staff member read our letter with them.

This is a really important question. Our letters are designed for individuals in the moderate to moderate/severe stages of dementia. One way to think of it is if your loved one has the ability to read short amounts or be read to, or enjoys photos and music, Cherish could be a fit for them. In the future we hope to offer activities for all stages of dementia.
